RH: For some time, we have apartments, collective housing in Trepça, where we stayed occasionally. This housing we used to call “bankauza”, 3 people living in a single room… in Kaqandoll, Bajgora, Selac and other locations, because some workers had to came from remote villages… for example, they could not walk during the winter time from home to the work and back when the weather was bad, so we used to stay there.
VK: Have you ever lived there?
RH: Yes, I have lived.
VK: How long have you lived there?
RH: Sorry?
VK: How long have you been living there?
RH: Well, the building was strong enough, cleaners cleaned the rooms. It was really clean, with central heating. It was really nice to live there. For a single person to live there, it was really nice.
VK: How you spend your time there, let’s say, after working hours?
RH: We used to play, like chess, domino, after working hours. Sometime I went to Mitrovica, to have a coffee with my friends, to chat… and these kind of things.
