The hotel’s construction and operation got underway in 1936. The Englishmen carried out the works. The old miners still remember it. It’s still mentioned a man so called “Johnson”, who paid a visit during the 80-ties to Stari Trg. He was born in 1910. He was accompanied by a lady, born in 1938 in Zveçan. In her passport was still standing her birthplace: Zveçan, Yugoslavia. Anyway, they had come with a completely different mission. They have built the hotel in Stari Trg. As a part of the hotel, about two hundred meters (200 m) near the forest was built a swimming pool. In addition, they built the tennis court, which today… the concrete is in better condition than anything that was put in here three days ago, including walking trails in the woods and benches for resting. They constructed a restaurant for workers when entering in Zveçan, and a hotel that still exists. Number Three is the name of the hotel in Zveçan, and still has the same name. Hotel Number One (1), restaurant for workers and hotel Number Three (3). In this way, all this has remained as inheritance. It is completely made of stone.

After the war, the hotel has remained intact as it was before. However, I feel ashamed to say that, instead of conserving it, somebody took the stones from balcony for construction, for what… the hotel is completely demolished. (He gets excited while uttering) I sat next to the hotel and cried like a child.
