The organization “7Arte” has successfully marked the realization of the first open tour for visitors in the industrial complex of Trepça and the spaces that depict the rich history of miners in this region. This historical and cultural tour offered a rare adventure to discover the old industrial wealth and heritage of this area in Kosovo.

With the aim of promoting the industrial and cultural heritage of Trepça, the first tour was accompanied by experienced historians, engineers, and tour guides who led visitors on a comprehensive journey, starting with the history of the city, mines, museums, factories, and the industrial complex, and then continuing with an exploration of religious and accommodation-related objects.

“We are pleased to have now turned this ambitious idea into reality, promoting our industrial and cultural heritage to our first visitors,” said Mr. Lulzim Hoti, director of “7 Arte.” “This is just the beginning of a promising initiative that aims to create a fusion between history, culture, and the economic development of this region.”

Visit Trepça aims to become a well-known destination for local and international tourists interested in exploring the industrial heritage and rich culture of Trepça. The first tour was attended by enthusiastic visitors from Prishtina, Prizren, as well as some international tourists. Visit Trepça is ready to welcome more visitors to share this unique adventure. Soon, the “Purple Tour” will be launched, with the destination being the mines of Artana/Novo Brdo.

This pilot project is part of the annual program of the organization 7Arte, supported by the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sports, as well as the Municipality of Mitrovica.
